Black Bean Tacos

Need a quick dinner? Not only is this recipe easy to make but it also tastes great.

 1 tbsp Olive Oil
 1 small Onion Chopped
 1 can Black Beans, Rinsed & Drained
 1 cup of Salsa (any kind)
 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
 ½ tsp Chili Powder
 6 Taco Shells (optional)
 1 Tomato, Sliced
 1 Avocado, Sliced
 1 cup Lettuce

Cooking Instructions


Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat; cook onion until tender (approx. 5-10 minutes).


Stir in black beans, salsa, garlic powder, chili powder with onion.


Reduce heat to low and cook mixture at a simmer until thickens (approx. 5-10 minutes).


Serve with taco shells (soft or hard), tomato, avocado and shredded lettuce.
